The skin is our largest organ and it absorbs close to everything that is applied. So it is very important to know what exactly you are putting on your body and to place a real focus on choosing the right products.

"What goes on the body should be as pure as the body itself."

Our BASIUM products are 100% natural and consist of pure substances already present in raw materials such as flowers, leaves, stems, wood, roots, seeds and resins. In comparison, more than 95 percent of the chemicals in synthetic fragrances are derived from petrochemicals. These chemicals disrupt hormone activity, cause reproductive malformation and they have also been linked to liver and breast cancer, diabetes and obesity - some of which are cited on the EPA’s hazardous waste list.

We have chosen to only use essential oils that are sourced from suppliers we trust and to prevent any over harvesting of any plant species.
